Launch!
Here it is finally! SayBass.com gets off the ground and over the net. Thanks to all of the artists, managers and publicists that have helped me get the initial offerings for the  Podcasts. A big thank you goes out to one of my favorite bassists Norm Stockton for going first. He has so much to say about being a musician and I’m looking forward to getting him back for more soon. Thanks to Apple Computers for allowing me to do this also by developing and offering Podcasts to us.
SayBass.com lets you go beyond the printed page and hear first hand from the artists how they approach the instrument, what moves them about music and they’ll give you insight into their world as a performing artist. There are some great interviews headed your way and I hope you will enjoy them. >>>> Ben Griffith

“...it’s easy to have a rudimentary understanding of harmony, or whatever and be able to function on a pop gig for instance and feel like wow, I’ve mastered music. But you know just right around the corner is the next thing that will completely explode your knowledge of music and make you realize that wow, you don’t know anything, you know? For me the first big revelation in that regard was jazz.”
